Four Great Buildings to Shape Olympic Beijing

Beijing has both excellent and classical architecture but few distinguished modern buildings. Now such world famous architects as Ram Koolhass, de Meuron, Paul Andrew and PTW Architects are to display their skills here. With the speeding up of China's urbanization and the challenging concept of the 2008 Olympic Games, almost all famous design consortiums from around the world have found that China is one of the few countries which provides not only imaginary space but also abundant funds for modern architecture today. Therefore, Ram Koolhass's "door", Herzog and de Meuron's "bird-nest", Paul Andrew's "eggshell" and PTW Architects' "water cube" are just a small part of the skills displayed by famous architects in China.
National Swimming Center--exquisite and exciting "Water Cube""鱼缸"
A semi-transparent "cube", with "bubbles" spread out all over its surface, is a shape very similar to the structure of "H2O", the outlook for the National Swimming Center at the 2008 Olympic Games. After the games, it will become a recreational water park open to the public.
In Chinese culture, water is an important natural element. It creates a calming atmosphere and inspires happiness. Taking full consideration of the functions of water in recreation and bodybuilding, designers have explored many ways for people of different age groups to appreciate its function. The design is called "Water Cube". Many creative designs have been employed in the creation of the swimming pools at the swimming center. Other high-tech facilities including optical devices used to define positions of athletes, and multiple-angle, three-dimensional screening systems are provided to help spectators enjoy competitions.
The National Swimming Center, one of the three landmark buildings for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, is located inside the Beijing Olympic Park. Covering a total floor space of 50,000 square meters, it has 17,000 seats. The project costs about US$100 million. The center will be a venue for swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water-polo games during the period of the Olympic Games. After the games, the center will become a large water recreational center open to the public.
In January 2003, Beijing started to solicit design schemes for the National Swimming Center. The international competition settled on "Water Cube" as the winning scheme. It is designed by the design consortium consisting of the China State Construction Engineering Corporation, China State Construction International (Shenzhen) Design Co Ltd, PTW Architects (Australia) and Ove Arup (Australia).
The National Swimming Center will be the only landmark Olympic venue that is constructed by donations from compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao.
National Stadium--natural "Bird's Nest""鸟巢"
"Bird's Nest" is jointly designed by Herzog and De Meuron Architekten AG, Switzerland, and China Architecture Design Institute. It gained high praise and also aroused most controversy.
Some people think the design is too avant-garde and trendy, and not in keeping with acceptable traditional ideas. However, insiders think "Bird's Nest" has properly expressed a new architectural vernacular. Such schemes can not work out without an understanding of Chinese philosophy and the Chinese idea of good timing, geographical convenience and harmonious human relations.
According to designer De Meauron, first, it is a contemporary Chinese building; second, it has close links with Chinese culture; third, it is reliable in its use of techniques. The architecture of the 20th century emphasized technology. In the new century it will reflect the contemporary culture of the Olympic Games. The stadium is designed for its people; the "gentle" environment shows respect to its athletes.
The stadium is a bowl shape with a red stand. It looks like a nest structure. It is made of gray mining steel covered with a transparent membrane. "Bird's Nest" is an original creation, with a fresh and unique appeal, an exciting example of global architecture.
As the main stadium for the 2008 Olympic Games, the National Stadium is located in the Olympic Park, northeast of the city axis line, covering an area of 204,100 square meters and forming a construction area of 258,000 square meters. During the 2008 Olympics, the National Stadium is designated to host the opening and closing ceremony, the track and field competition and the soccer games, etc.
The National Stadium accommodates 100,000 spectators of which 20,000 are with temporary seating. After the 2008 Olympics, the National Stadium will be converted to an 80,000-seater stadium suitable for large-scale sport competitions and other non-competitive events. The National Stadium will become a large-scale venue for sports, recreation and entertainment for the people of Beijing.
New CCTV site--unconventional "Z crisscross""大底裤"
While elaborating on his design concept, Ram Koolhass, designer of "Z crisscross" said: "It's the architecture that China needs -- I bring it to you now!" Wu Yaodong, vice general architect of Tsinghua Architecture Design Institute, pointed out "The open attitude shown in selecting design schemes of this high caliber has surpassed the architecture itself."
A member of the review committee said, "the designer of the new CCTV (China Central Television) site changed from a domestic master to an international master. The pressure it brought is not whether the scheme is backward, but rather the futurist design may not be accepted by the general public."
The design of the new CCTV site started from invitation biddings from 10 architecture design organizations, of different styles, from around the world, to the final selected scheme. Hong Kong architect Rocco Yim, a member of the review committee, said, "The design scheme selection of the CCTV competition was very professional," compared with other appraisals he has taken part in.
After discussions and polling, the three schemes shortlisted were the Metropolitan Architecture of the Netherlands, Japan's Toyo Ito Architecture and the Shanghai Xiandai Architecture Design Group. The design scheme of the Metropolitan Architecture of the Netherlands impressed most members of the committee, not only for the design itself but also for remarks made by its designer, Ram Koolhass. Later, Koolhass's scheme became the final selection.
With a 230-meter high major building, the new CCTV site will be a landmark in the heart of the Central Business District (CBD) in eastern Beijing. The project, which will cost around US$600 million, has 550,000 square meters of floor space. The space will be divided into several construction areas in accordance with the operational requirements and functions of various departments.
National Grand Theater--Paul Andrew's "Eggshell""鸟蛋"
According to French architect Paul Andrew, after the construction is completed, the Grand Theater will look like a huge green park with an oval and silver grand theater encircled by green water. The shell, made of titanium metal and glass together with day and night lights will add radiance and beauty to each other, and have fast-changing colors. The surroundings of the Grand Theater are semi-transparent, golden netted glass walls. People can see the sky inside the building through its dome. Some people describe the complete Grand Theater as "a crystal drop of water", other people call it a "big egg shell" or "boiled egg".
The Grand Theater project was approved by the State Council in April, 1998 and formerly put into construction on December 13, 2001.
It will be China's top arts performance center and a first class art palace.
Covering a total area of 118,900 square meters, the Grand Theater has a total floor space of 149,500 square meters. It is equipped with accessory facilities including halls for opera, music, drama, art exhibitions, as well as an art exchange center, and audio and video store. Opera, dancing and ballet will be mainly presented in the opera hall, which can accommodate an audience of 2,416. The Music Hall, which can accommodate 2,017, will mainly present large orchestral work and folk music. Drama and local opera including Peking opera will be staged in the drama hall.

At the northern side of the Grand Theater there will be an underground parking lot, which can hold almost 1,000 motor vehicles and 1,400 more bicycles. It can be used as an accessory facility for the Grand Theater and as a public facility in the Tian'anmen Square area.

Failed to sign in Windows Live Messenger.... is msn de problem or streamyx de?
Since yesterday then 为此问题而烦...
I restarted the modem >1000000 times.... Spent hours repeating the same thing - restart modem/repair connection, sign in, failed, then restart modem..... restart computer.... all also 于事无补....
I also got a lot of false hope....
- Successfully signed in but failed to send messages
- Successfully signed in then it disconnected after a few minutes
- I even signed in using Window Messenger, it tahan for around 20 minutes b4 it disconnected.....
Sien 死人了... To overcome this "sien"ness, i downloaded >50 songs, watch more than 10 episodes of anime, read wikipedia for more than 2 hours.... in this 2 days.....

Moonlight Resonance
家好月圆 damn nice!!! The storyline 高潮迭起... Just 区区 5 episodes also so 过瘾... Too bad AOD don't provide free viewing after episode 5, need to download myself...
Basically the story is like its predecessor, with mooncakes replacing abalones, two wives fighting, the husband 夹在中间, the children suffers... It is just 米雪 replacing 关菊英 as the evil 二奶, 李司祺 as the always good and 宽容大量的大婆, 陈豪 is like in the prequel 儍儍地, 黄宗泽 replacing 林峰 as the 钟嘉欣有型的专业人士男朋友 (in the prequel, 林峰 is a lawyer and a 负心汉;in this Moonlight Resonance, 黄宗泽 is a doctor and dunno will be a 负心汉 or not....)
The story itself is a bit lame (like naming their sons and daughters according to the letters in 家好月圆庆中秋, and overuse of all those 烂gets from 荷妈, i dun think 李司祺 acted well enough when saying those 烂get) and the 曲折离奇的 family relationships (like brother falling in love with the 契妹) make the story too 戏剧化, 家好月圆 is a story that can only exist in TV dramas...
In addition to that, the opening theme song for this drama is just like its indirect prequel, the 关菊英 as the vocalist... Her songs are like those 70's 80's oldies.... If the 插曲 《爱不疚》 becomes the 主题曲, then it'll be better (for me la, the younger generations of the 电视观众). 林峰's 《爱不疚》 is nice, although not as good as his 《岁月风云》's 插曲, 《爱在记忆中找你》...
Filming 你争我斗的伦理剧 is always TVB's 拿手好戏, from 《大时代》，《天地豪情》，《金枝欲孽》，《溏心风暴》... to 《家好月圆》 and the upcoming 《珠光宝气》... Almost each of them became or most probably will become the classics for TVB.....
Hope this Moonlight Resonance won't disappoint us the 电视观众, don't give us a good beginning but a lame ending... hope it can do better than the Heart of Greed....
But trials is around the corner... so.... 唉...

真是不明白… Why some teachers so 横蛮无理? Why some people so 自私?
“Oh, u must not get any post in this this this club….”
“If u gets high post in that club, u 唔驶指意响呢度拎post ler….”
“谁叫你interview时讲要拿这个post的? 现在你拿到了….我叫你放弃!! 我会跟你那个club de老师倾倾……还讲?我就是不要你在那边拿高post!!”
“谁叫你要放弃这边的? 你看你那边都拿不到你要的 post……”
“如果他在你那边会拿到top 5 的话, 他在这里就不会拿到 top 4 ler….”
Now these days those seniors and teachers are getting worse and worse. All so 萌塞…… All only wanna 占为己有…… What if the juniors get high post in one club? That doesn’t mean they can’t get high post in other clubs rite? If they can cope with it, even becoming 2 club’s president also won’t be a problem……
Yet, some seniors and teachers like to ugut them…… Forcing them to make difficult choices…… Giving them pressure…… “You can only choose one!!! Is either here or there!!!”
So some of the students, 精神上饱受折磨, and then always emo d…... They are afraid of making the wrong choice… Everyone hopes that things can end up 两全其美, but it is impossible with those kinds of seniors and teachers… If the little juniors 驳嘴, it might end up getting nothing because the seniors and teachers maybe will 不爽 and use post to 威胁 the juniors “再吵你什么post都没有!”
So poor thing… What can they do? Just try to 割舍 and 放弃 one of them lo…… If not then try to 开解 those萌塞 teachers and seniors lo (If they dare risking their chance of getting a post la, there is a chance that they won't get anything in the end if they fail to 开解 those 萌塞 teachers and seniors)…… 真是为那些新人感到可怜……. 真是悲...... Dunno what will happen to them......

9.50am – Start giving out report cards to those parents (they say 10.30 only can chow, but I think no one cares lo…)
Around 11 – Tak ada parents came d…… Other classes the teachers all so busy, only our chandra so 得闲. 别班是家长等老师, my class is 老师等家长…… The class became 空空如也, students all merayau-rayau around the school, only left a few students and the 闷到抽筋的cik Chandra……
For myself leh….. I thought my parents would come around 10.30…

12.17 – “Your sister still need to wait….. Her class now only 轮到 number 20…. Our number is 35 leh….” Walao….
12.50 – Finally….. finally….. finally…… I 放监 la….. Thought can go back home early, but in the end is like normal 放学时间…..

H & G concert
The whole concert started with a few speeches, thx to pn LKL punya speech, many ppl almost fell asleep b4 the H&G started to perform.....
Then, the 万众期待的 performance finally started..... ya, it finally started.... damn 差......
唉, can reli sleep ler....... the performance not very satisfying..... They play the "jagung" until like 走音n oso 漏风, then their guitar like no sound, the drummer like play until too high, 很像拿鼓来出气.....打到声音盖过了jagungs n guitars.....but if it is the 1st time for them, then consider ok gua.....
Luckily, they invited a 长气佬 as guest performance, Mr郑庆生(I think i 4got his name....), he play the "Jagung" like hell, no wonder he hav that big 肚腩, to 装风...... But the mr.burgerking
said this 长气佬 very stupid. Last time he did a charity performance, then he said he'll 不管收多少钱, but when the organiser gave him rm5000, he said nt enough.... So imagine how much H&G paid him to "invite" him as a guest performer?
Then, there's sth that let us feel that our tickets are not wasted.... The guest performers from other school is like 天与地 if compare wif our sch.... They r like so pro, our sch punya looked so noob..... Thx to them, the audience finally started to get high....... There r performers fr two schools, one is 中华国中, the other one is ??? (din reli notice). Our sch compare to them is like playing for the funeral, 一副死了人的样子, 没有朝气, 死沉沉.... Those pro performers reli 抢完our school punya 风光.... Duno y the H&G so stupid, 找人来踩自己的场.... Those pro even use one ahnd to hold the "jagung", then one hand hold the mic, and some of them even play sugar cane (the very big size jagung).....
After that, the whole crowd started to fall asleep again, those 催眠曲 reli proved to be useful.......
Luckily, almost at the end there's still performance by ex H&G seniors, although the 场面 was nt so high as before..... but it's still much much much much much much better than those 催眠曲 & 噪音......

Retirement
Today finally 退休 la......
So I'm not LKT punya Ketua Disiplin anymore, but an EX-Ketua Disiplin...... So now 两袖清风...... I think my life will start to be more "sien", since now I am "old" and retired.
The government servants after retire will hav 一笔退休金 & pencens-pencens for 享福, but it seems that LKT dun provide these...... So 退休 means no benefit la...... No power and no money d....
The AGM today -
We seniors nt very shuang cuz the 主角 today is nt us.... We retire ma, so the we should hav all the spotlight... but... but.... all those 风头 giv those f4s 抢完... 唉, 临退休还要为我们的下一代 or so called "接班人" 烦恼....... We should hav a 风光的退休仪式, where everyone cry and 不舍得 our retirement.....hahaha....
Anyway, the pilihanraya of LKT basically went well, reli cant believe that we r so demokrasi....
The votes actually plays a big role in choosing the next batch (now is considered as CURRENT) execs..... especially some of the 大人物s.....
Although we practice democracy, the results yet still disappoints some of the f4s n some of the old people (f5s) too..... But i hope that they won't feel 不爽 (although feeling 不爽 is very normal, almost every clubs n societies, n almost every years oso gt ppl 不爽 on their own exec results...)
Just hope that the f4s won't b like 不爽 until they ignore n dun care about their post and responsibilities anymore. Actually who got wat post doesn't reli matters, yet this takes time to understand la.... cuz they dun reli experience it before.... Those f4s 抢 our 镜头 as 主角, but dun feel 不爽 la, if like this ah, the 主角们 oso wont be 上镜....
I'm satisfied with my 接班人 anyway..... I think my 接班人 oso satisfied gua......
I hope that i can hav a good farewell party from the new execs.... at least on the farewell party we ex-seniors r the 主角.....
so wats the plan after retirement? 环游世界? 告老还乡? 弄孙作乐? 退隐江湖?安享晚年?...............
别发梦啦!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!佑溱.....种有spm la.....有排未有得唞啊......

Fragrance in the Night

“它” 真的很大排…
“它” 真的那么香吗?
竟然香到有人为 “它” 唱歌…
还怀念 “它”, 思量 “它”…
夜晚才散发出香味,
“它” 到底是什么呢?
夜来香, 简称为夜香,
其实每个人差不多每天都会闻到这种香味…
只是很少人会察觉到而已...
但是为什么唱歌唱到 “夜” 才来 “香” 呢?
因为以前那些时代, 夜晚空气特别 “清新”, 极“少”污染,
可是现在科技已很先进, 已经不需要人将 "它"搬来搬去, 所以香味也散发得少了......
"夜香"此名, 也鲜为人知了......
其实 “它” 不只 “香”, 还对社会, 环境很有贡献,
对社会, 在以前, “它” 提供了不少就业机会, 而且 “它”的工作人员还给人称为 “夜香妹”……
对环境, “它” 也帮助了不少, 绿化环境少不了 “它”……
现在人们正在努力营造"书香社会", 既然"它"有那么多贡献, 人们也是不是应该营造另一个"夜香社会"? 哈哈哈哈....
虽然我觉得为 “它” 做一首歌有点夸张,
但既然 “它” 那么有贡献, 有邓丽君, 蔡琴 &陶喆都为 “它” 歌唱也不出奇吧……

Dust – 灰尘 – Habuk – 烟尘
Dust in homes, offices, and other human environments consists of
- Dead human skin cells (it is estimated that the entire outer layer of skin is shed every day or two at a rate of 7 million skin flakes per minute (what the?!!!), which corresponds to a mass emission rate of about 20 mg/minute),
- Plant pollen,
- Human and animal hairs,
- Textile fibers,
- Paper fibers,
- Minerals from outdoor soil and dust, and
- Many other materials which may be found in the local environment.
According to the German Environmental Survey (from Wikipedia), approximately 6 mg/m²/day of house dust is formed!!!!
And nearly 1000 dust particles per square centimeter settle on domestic surfaces every hour!!!
Meaning there are around 24000 dust particles on one teeny tiny centimeter square per day.
Since most of us are so lazy to do duties during recess, imagine the dust accumulated on the floors, desks and chairs in the school…

We didn’t do our duties for one month (very normal, especially during exams…)
24000 x 30 = 720000 dust particles / cm^2
Our school desks is around 75 cm x 40 cm = 3000 cm^2
There will be 24000 x 3000 = 72000000 dust particles accumulated on the desk per day
720000 x 3000 = 2160000000 dust particles per month!!!!
Wow!!!! We cleaned more than 100000000000 of dust particles in our class during gotong royong today.........
There are some cosmopolitan guests living in our habitation happily with these dusts. They are known as Dust Mites.

如果世上有那么多意外......
唉, 不知道应不应该后悔拿accounts... 本来都没心机读书的了。因为考试临时抱佛脚, 每次等到最后一分钟才读书，所以accounts可以说是个负担，累赘... 因为本来都不用拿这科的，不知当初给谁骗了，懵茶茶地，blur blur 地，笨笨地, “拉屎上身”.... 现在考试要读多一科，连补习都要补多一科，真是自己拿来衰......
出乎意料地是，今日拿到考试纸时........
Accounts paper 2 是当天考当天早上读的，paper 1 leh 就简直没动到，乱tembak de...... 能拿到 88 分，只能说全属意外。真是有神庇佑，还是真的称得上好彩...... 如果 addmaths ah, physics ah, chemistry ah, sejarah ahj, bio ah (尤其是bio，最weak的science), 能有那么多意外发生就好了...... 偏偏就只有accounts.....
我看这次考试成绩，accounts 是其中最好，最值得为荣的成绩。Hahahaha....... 这好听叫 “无心插柳柳成荫”，难听就叫 “下次你没那么好彩的了”...... Overall 来讲，这次考试的成绩只能勉强拿来见人。但是以我酱“用功”读书，得到这种成绩已算得到上天眷顾了。
唉，现在都spm报考了, 不考好它, 自己的spm成绩就会多了一个污"绩"，就算用那些dynamo，top 洗衫粉，breeze 都洗不掉.....
没得救啦，现在唯有“有始有终”，不能“半途而废”，要tahan下去，为accounts尽下啲人事了.....

Story
Prologue – Everyone in SMJK Katholik is preparing for its “30 days of night”, a period where the paper monsters will come out and attack people…
Day 1 – First Blood!!! Akauns initiates the attack. Akauns have high 杀伤力, but low AOE. Thus, most of the people manage to escape the first attack, yet some innocent people are killed by the akauns… Then the English essay continues the attack, causing minor injuries to the people…
Day 2 – Mathematics 2 found out the hideout of the people, and starts a killing spree. It is then followed by the low-level B.Melayu 1 assault……
Day 3 – Chemistry 2 performs its “Penjajahan Jepun” attack on the people, torturing the people mentally and physically, killing lots of people. Some people started to use the FORBIDDEN weapon to increase their escape rate and the FORBIDDEN power to increase their attack damage… yet some of the weapons are 没收 by the “law enforcers” and some of the people who used the FORBIDDEN powers are killed by the L.Enforcers. After the ‘penjajahan’, the carnage is followed by the Bintang Tiga Attack (aka 14 hari MPAJA) by the BCina 1…leaving the people to hate BC. It’s just the 3rd day, the people already 死伤惨重…
Day 4 – The Moral terrorizes the people. Some of the innocent people (like the Crap News Network of 5s7) dunno how to escape and counterattack, only remember “Kepercayaan kpd Tuhan”. Thus, they counterattack with the only “Kepercayaan kpd Tuhan” nilai they knew, only to die in the hands of Moral. After that is EST 1, killing people with stupid questions on classifications.
Day 5 – Day 20
The people are safe and sound in their hideouts… Some of them prepare themselves in these few days to defend themselves from papers monsters…
Day 21 – Physics 2 ambushes the people. Using the ‘Electromagnetic waves’ and ‘Induced Current’ skill to stun the people and starts a killing spree. The sejarah 1 slaughters the school… The people again use the FORBIDDEN powers to defend themselves….
Day 22 – The akauns1 starts the day with a mini-massacre, followed by the sejarah 2 massacre. The massacre was like the 四川大地震, killing more than 1000000000000 lives!!!
Day 23 – Double-Kill!!! The 合作无间 between the bio2 and addmaths1 again killed the defending humans. Day 28 – The long-forgotten BM strikes back! It begins a slaughter just like the 513 事件, where the org cina fights with the BM… The slaughter ended with the BI2
Day 29 – 2 more days the darkness ends… The people starts counterattack with the machine gun on the useless PJPK. However, they are eventually inflicted with a deadly poison by The “Camp Mystery” – CHEMISTRY 1 & 3. However, a human risked its life to enter the “虎穴”, found a high concentration chemical to nullify the poison inflicted by the Chemistry, thus saving the human race.
Day 30 – The “Faeces”, Physics 1 & 3, inflicts a curse on the people, leaving them vulnerable to simple mathematics. Again, a human saves the people by understanding the physics’ resistance through (surprisingly) lightbulbs...
Day 31 – Light is not far away now… Yet, the worst nightmare -“Buy a Long Jeans”, biology1 & 3 awakens. Again, a human nearly sacrificed itself to find the vitamin C in order to defend the virus spread by Bio1 & 3. They finally defeated the last paper monster – Buy a Long Jeans, thx to the vitamin C. After the 30 days of night, finally here comes the light…The end of the film shows that the survivors yell and tears all the paper monsters into pieces…
Day 1 – First Blood!!! Akauns initiates the attack. Akauns have high 杀伤力, but low AOE. Thus, most of the people manage to escape the first attack, yet some innocent people are killed by the akauns… Then the English essay continues the attack, causing minor injuries to the people…
Day 2 – Mathematics 2 found out the hideout of the people, and starts a killing spree. It is then followed by the low-level B.Melayu 1 assault……
Day 3 – Chemistry 2 performs its “Penjajahan Jepun” attack on the people, torturing the people mentally and physically, killing lots of people. Some people started to use the FORBIDDEN weapon to increase their escape rate and the FORBIDDEN power to increase their attack damage… yet some of the weapons are 没收 by the “law enforcers” and some of the people who used the FORBIDDEN powers are killed by the L.Enforcers. After the ‘penjajahan’, the carnage is followed by the Bintang Tiga Attack (aka 14 hari MPAJA) by the BCina 1…leaving the people to hate BC. It’s just the 3rd day, the people already 死伤惨重…
Day 4 – The Moral terrorizes the people. Some of the innocent people (like the Crap News Network of 5s7) dunno how to escape and counterattack, only remember “Kepercayaan kpd Tuhan”. Thus, they counterattack with the only “Kepercayaan kpd Tuhan” nilai they knew, only to die in the hands of Moral. After that is EST 1, killing people with stupid questions on classifications.
Day 5 – Day 20
The people are safe and sound in their hideouts… Some of them prepare themselves in these few days to defend themselves from papers monsters…
Day 21 – Physics 2 ambushes the people. Using the ‘Electromagnetic waves’ and ‘Induced Current’ skill to stun the people and starts a killing spree. The sejarah 1 slaughters the school… The people again use the FORBIDDEN powers to defend themselves….
Day 22 – The akauns1 starts the day with a mini-massacre, followed by the sejarah 2 massacre. The massacre was like the 四川大地震, killing more than 1000000000000 lives!!!
Day 23 – Double-Kill!!! The 合作无间 between the bio2 and addmaths1 again killed the defending humans. Study physics......
Mass = what we need to study/information
Displacement = Different ways of studying have different distances. However, the displacement is still the same because what we’ll achieve in the end is the same.
Time = Time la……
Velocity = Displacement/Time
Thus, velocity is the speed of studying……Time here is the time taken to achieve what you want, generally means finish what you have to study (But that’s impossible because time is usually running out when we start to study). However, if your way is good enough, you will take short time to finish all your studies……
Acceleration = Velocity/Time
Hence, as time decreases, acceleration increases. We only start to study when exam is near, so we don’t have enough time to study. Therefore, we’ll naturally speed up just to hope that we can finish the whole book in time (This is normally an impossible task for a last minute student).
Force = Mass x Acceleration
A small and moderate force can be defined as motivation. HOWEVER, our studying acceleration INCREASES like hell due to last minute study… Furthermore, we have lots of things that we need to study, because we pushed everything to the last minute (Mass = what we need to study)… A high acceleration and a large mass will produce a very LARGE force, not a small or moderate one… A large force produced can be defined as FORCING OURSELVES TO STUDY.
Pressure = Force/Area
Thus, as force increases, pressure increases. With the large force we are experiencing, the pressure will also increase.

3. We can’t change the displacement since it is a constant, what we aim to achieve is the same (although most of the time we failed).

Exams
Why do we have exams?
The teachers will say:
- "It provides a rather easy way and quantitative measure for the teacher to gage where students are at and rate their progress."
- "After exams we come to know our mistakes and can correct them."
- "Exams is a chance to evaluate in one time period all that you about one subject."
A normal student will say:
- We get to learn MANY things. (adults say so)
- It is an exercise for the brain to remember things(especially your gf's birthday and the day you met her.....)
- We learn how to copy(eventually we make new friends and get to improve our relationship with friends交流感情)
- Some children who are really concerned about exams, they don't sleep the night before their exam(its a practice for them after they marry)
- People who act cool during their exams but are usually sweating inside(it is good for them, their BLOOD PRESSURE gets regulated during exams, 促进血液循环, a good prevention from getting cardiovascular diseases)
The purpose of exams maybe good. However, i think our teachers and school put too much pressure on us d. From primary Standard 1 to secondary Form 5, 算下算下we actually sat more than 300 exams!!!!!! How did we survive exams all these years????

从好来以前嘅神啊救救我吧，没那种命啊 ......佢唱出咗每个情场失意嘅心声.......一句 “我爱的人 不是我的爱人”, 似乎成为每个失恋者必哼之歌...... 一首失恋王, 更将失恋嘅心情表露无遗......献世更流露出一个人嘅自卑感...... 取消资格, 女人不该让男人太累等等......亦唱出一啲人嘅恋爱挫折......呢啲歌, 就算冇失恋, 都也能百听不厌......到而家嘅新歌独家记忆, 我不是伟人, 佢都仍然种系唱紧失恋歌......
每一首歌, 都唱出唔一样嘅失恋情节, 失恋故事...... 每一首歌, 都咁扣人心弦......佢就系陈小春......
唔知点解, 我近排成日听独家记忆, 呢首歌嘅广东版我不是伟人其实更好听, 第二啲旧歌其实都种好听过呢首, 而且呢首歌嘅歌词有啲似响广东话翻译过嚟嘅, 加上有啲俗......佢都有唱到有啲唔啱, 唱到唔似佢把声, 冇咁顺耳......但系我偏偏种系比较钟意听呢首独家记忆......可能系因为佢嘅歌词吧......

Exam!!!!!One more week!!!!
唉, 读书读到sien咗, 整个头脑还是处于半清醒状态, study apa pun tak masuk otak.....
不读书, 我的良心会很过意不去......尤其是今年是SPM......要早早培养好读书的 mood, adapt 回这久违的生活煎熬. 已经很久没这样读书了, 应该是说很久没自动自发又那么早地去读......since PMR? i think no...maybe since UPSR......
还记得UPSR时, all those teacher 都是ki siao 的. Everyday also 读书......还好有那些老师, 不然我现在一定考试很差....My language subjects, 尤其是 Bahasa Melayu standard is still like primary...but surprisingly it is enough for secondary, just that we learned lots of isi plus huraian in secondary (i think so la because we still use back the same style to write - selain itu, di samping itu, tambahan pula.....thx to the crazy Cikgu Lee...MELAMPAU!!!)
Those days已变成历史......Since 进来中学, everything 放慢速度 d......Last time 小学 didn't pass up homework also 心惊惊, now 麻木 d. Didn't pass up homework only ma, won't die one...... My life of study sudah tukar kepada the relax style.....even exam doesn't really matters to me( just don't get lower than my expectations then can la....)
My style of study - 临时抱佛脚......everything last minute......
But now SPM, so must take things seriously......(有几久我没take things seriously 了啊?忘记了....)
Use 理智 to think, 临时抱佛脚 is sure not enough, 敷衍then can la, 来真的 sure die lo, 所以 must use back the primary study style to 应付 this 2nd term exam, this style is 最实际, because exam is less than one week...
But i very easy putus asa, plus easily distracted (because 享受 the relax life for too long d), so must start early, but actually is too late d(less than one week leh), but at least still better than last minute la......
My way now - Expose myself to BOOKS everyday, so that i can finally 培养起阅读的良好习惯......But i think this is actually useless, 我的生活虽然充满 "书香" now, but i masih dalam keadaan yang blur blur saja.....Dalam semua yang saya telah study, hanya 0.01% berjaya masuk ke dalam otak saya sebagai long term memory......
My 良心 is pushing me to study.....since it is spm year, there's lot of 责任 and 理智点来说, this is a very very very very important year because my future depends on my spm. But i still 赖赖闲(*cantonese), although i know all these.....要对得住天地良心, 要对住父母妻儿, i must study!!!!!!!!!!!!!(过龙了.....)
唉, there's still many other teeny tiny factors like my mother 啰嗦 la...this and that.......

Whenever comes to study, i'll transform into a pig.Books can be a very good 催眠药, staring it for a few seconds makes you wanna fall asleep. With the help of this 催眠大法, my 午觉 can last for 4 hours!!! This only happen semasa musim peperiksaan......dunno why.......
Plus sometimes my 内心的挣扎 can take up to one hour!!!! The fight between 理智 & 感情 + 犹豫 + 发牛抖(*cantonese)after that....................
So how can i 专心读书?
They say listening to music is a good way of study. For me, after i listened, i will 沉醉 in the music......then forgot about my studies.....If there is people singing lagi teruk, i'll just follow them and sing....lalalalala........so is there any good way for me to study?
总而言之, now i must get back to study.....偷懒 enough lo......continue my usaha untuk memupuk study mood saya..........

Are they real?

These clouds are known as Mammatus Clouds, or mammatocumulus. The name 'Mammatus' is derived from Latin, mamma (meaning human breast, lol), due to their resemblance to female breast (a bit la)
Explanation from visualfunhouse.com
Mammatus Clouds are formed when air is over saturated with water droplets that begin to freeze or cool then sink. Around the clouds lies sharp gradients in temperature, moisture and wind momentum, that combined to strongly influence the clouds formations. They are very rare to see but defiantly a beautiful site.
According to wikipedia, the formation of Mammatus Clouds is still a mystery......There are many hypothesized formation mechanism for Mammatus Cloud, where it involved freezing, sublimation, evaporation, latent heat............(form 4 physics chapter 4, thats why no one is interested in how it forms....physics is boring....)
But who cares about how it formed, just say thank you to mother nature because she created such a magnificient masterpiece for us......(but why the clouds is named like that? maybe because mother nature is also ahem....ahem....or is the scientist who named it is ahem...ahem...?)

INTERNATIONAL CG & DIGITAL ART EXHIBITION & CONVENTION
Most of the time today dunno y like no mood and a bit 心烦气躁......And so busy today, need to do lots of stuff....some of them are 闷, some of them are sien, some of them are 浪费时间, some of them are tiring, and a FEW of them also 充满期待.......
ONE of the only few 充满期待 stuffs is this - INTERNATIONAL CG & DIGITAL ART EXHIBITION & CONVENTION!!!!!!
Organiser: The One Academy
Venue: Mid Valley Exhibition Centre
Date: 8-11 May
Time: 11am – 9pm
I got to know this during the school edufair on the last Wednesday, after a talk with some girl from The One Academy……
At first i had no mood to go d, after one whole tiring day.....Plus 5pm is the time when i normally 睡午觉 so i felt very lazy...... But at last i went there in a 蒙茶茶 condition......
The exhibition was totally not disappointing! One of the best things in this exhibition……
Digital Painting!!!!
This way of drawing is just so cun……They use an ‘electronic drawing pad’ (that’s what I called it) connected to the computer to draw!!! So canggih!!! And the effect is nice……If I have this pad, I’m gonna 废寝忘食, 夜夜失眠……
After this exhibition, at least i got 精神 again....
I feel that designing is probably 啱我多啲……Since I won’t feel that designing is not a 累赘 for me……However, if think about my 钱途……
唉, 冇提了……
Besides that, I also got to see a 4D TV…..wow……They can make 3D effects without the spectators wearing the red-blue specs……I saw the spacecraft floating in front of me…… so yeng......
There's still a lot more canggih canggih things in this exhibition...... really 大饱眼福......
At last I also got a portrait of myself for RM5……But i looked so 老绩, so stupid, so 粉肠……

Blast off!!!!
Topic: The Rocket Launching Competition!!!!
(Yeah...I got to ponteng again!!!)
Aim: Not to win, but to ponteng!!!
Problem Statement: I don't even have a rocket, or neither i know how to build one
Hypothesis: The longer the competition is, the longer i can ponteng......
Variables:
Manipulated: Time taken to 拖 the competition
Responding: Time taken to ponteng
Fixed: -
Operational Definition:
There are two groups in this competition, each with different operational definition....
Accuracy - Just aim and launch the rocket
Timed - Let the rocket stay in air as long as possible
However, our 5s7 real operational definition is PONTENG....
Materials: 2 empty 1.5l 100plus bottles, rafia strings, fishing lines, scissors, cellotape, rubbish bags, water, cardboards and PERMISSION SLIP.
Apparatus: Pressure pumps
Procedure:
7.00 - Got rubbish bags from Mr TJ
7.15 - Found 2 empty 1.5l rootbeer bottles from PKS, the bottles were washed......
7.30 - Were told that rootbeer bottles are too soft, need 100plus bottles.....
7.35 - Assembly
7.45 - Went to canteen to buy 2 1.5l 1ooplus
7.46 - Began drinking.....灌everyone
8.00 - Finally finish drinking. The bottles were washed
8.10 - The rocket competition started. Form 4 started first...so we have time to build ours...
8.15 - Started building our rocket
9.30 - Finish building one....it looked like one, but dunno will it fly or not.....
Ard 9.45 - F5 started their competition
12.25 - Competition ended
12.26 - Makan di dalam canteen
12.45 - Back to 5s7
1.10 - 放学......
Results:
f4s - too lousy.........
f5s - too pro........5s4's last year champion.....they failed because their rocket 飞到不知所踪(too far).....Then some group's rocket got stuck between the tree branches...Many of them flew out to jln 10/3, although is far but it is considered as out of bounds..some even landed on the roofs......
Discussion:
Since the results were so confusing, we can't discuss anything based on the results.....This year's rocket launching competition very 失败...the participants (including me) 失败, the organiser 失败, the teachers 失败......I dunno how r they gonna announce the results since almost everyone also failed(because some too pro and some too lousy).......
Conclusion:
We successfully ponteng the whole day......Wasting rm6.60 to ponteng 5 hrs of school is worth it....

My future....Edufair.....烦死人.....
Edufair......Everytime thinks about this makes me feel so 烦......
What is my 志愿?my ambition?my 梦想?
I have no idea...... I just know I'm wanna 赚大钱 and then 享清福 as early as possible in my future.
So what I'm gonna be in the future? In front of me lays two paths:
SCienCE -
Be a Doctor? Civil Engineer? These are the only jobs that i have at least a little interest in it...... These jobs are 专业人士, which means earning lots of money to 早早享清福won't be a problem in the future (if really successful in these jobs la) ......

Graphic Design? Creative Multimedia? Architecture? I'm actually not very good in it but i think i have a bit 兴趣...... Compare to doctor, civil engineer......this sure 悭 a lot of 时间 & 金钱. plus i think i won't feel sien when studying lo......
But wait.....does it have 钱途 or not? I'm not sure leh.....depends gua....and i think need to have chances and know how to 把握 them......

About the EDUFAIR today.....my 寻"前途"记......
5s1, 5s3, 5s5, 5s7....... got to ponteng to see the opening ceremony.....
They said it'll start at 8.30a.m., but thanks to Ms. Wong, our chem teacher, 5s7 only reached there at 8.45a.m (failed to ponteng chemistry)....
But only at 9.00, they started the opening ceremony....very sien d lo waiting there....
好彩, the Pn. Lee Kim Lai finished her speech within 3 minutes, it was the 1st time i ever heard such a short speech from her, she very 识相, not to talk so much.....
After the 二十四节令 and a very lame 剪彩(where they don't cut ribbons, but UBK yellow heads...), edufair finally started at 9.30....
Since I was blur blur about my future, so I decided to take a so-called career test and played a so-called career game b4 dropping by those booths....
Career test-
I did the test, and then i got to know my 'strong points' and 'weaknesses'.....
Then i asked the UBK girl: " can u explain ah?"
UBK girl: "I dunno how to explain oh....Nah, give u the paper......read yourself la.....eh, wait....where's the paper ah?"
i was like ????
UBK girl: "Oh, found it....Nah"
Since she dunno how to explain, i better read the paper myself lo.....After reading it i also blur blur......
Career Game-
I finished the game like within 1 minute? I also dunno why i so fast 搞掂.....others like took a long time to play this game.....
The result is - i'm suitable to be an architect and ?????(i forgot, but i know that it is something i don't like).....Did that really help.....I think no lo.....
After i 嘥 my 时间 seeking help (and i 得到nothing), i started what should a student do in an edufair.....
But b4 that, i went to 锄 a plastic from IDP, and luckily i got to 锄 a highlighter from Nanyang Institute of Technology(a very 抢手 yet an a-few-people-only-know item)....
After the preparations (plastics, pens and highlighter), the journey of seeking my future started......
Sunway College....Taylors..... all 爆满......then i 嘥 a lot of time just standing there waiting.......
What is my 志愿?my ambition?my 梦想?
I have no idea...... I just know I'm wanna 赚大钱 and then 享清福 as early as possible in my future.
So what I'm gonna be in the future? In front of me lays two paths:
SCienCE -
Be a Doctor? Civil Engineer? These are the only jobs that i have at least a little interest in it...... These jobs are 专业人士, which means earning lots of money to 早早享清福won't be a problem in the future (if really successful in these jobs la) ......

After having a talk with them, i lagi confused......those terms - foundation, degree, diploma, and duno wat this course that course......then 3+0, 2+1, 3+1, 1+3.........Dunno why, i just don't have the mood to insert and organise these terms into my brain...maybe because too 烦 d? My 头脑 gets lagi 乱 after listening to all these......
The taylor's guy also ask me to seek the UBK TEACHERS for help, NOT those students.......
Then, 10.30....RECESS?.......so fast???wa lau yeh.......i still haven't 搞掂 leh......
After recess, i ponteng to the edufair, to continue the journey of seeking my 前途......
Reason why ponteng....
We are concerned about our future, so if we ponteng, it is reasonable....
the whole edufair = 60 mins
total waiting time(those 出名 ones need to wait lagi long) = 15 mins
serious talk with ONE college = 20 mins
chatting with friends/merayau-rayau/take those useless flyers,brochures/fill forms at each booth = 20 mins
Time left = 5 mins (maybe have a short talk with another college?)
For a normal student, we only get to have a serious talk with one college in the edufair, maximum 2..........so it is not enough time for us..... Besides that, i wasted my time doing those career game and career test, so i only had around 40 mins to spend before recess. That's why we ponteng.
My journey ends at 12.15, however, i still can't make up my mind.....arghhhhhh.......
The whole edufair thing today actually 冇帮到我......反而让我变得更加烦恼......Because of edufair, 我又谂到我嘅将来.......My future is important, but now exams are more important.......must study, no time to 分心.....so i can only think about it again after my exams.....Hope is not too late at that time....

The Classifications of 女生…

Introduction
女生, is a very special being that exists in our world. Someone said that guys, 男生always go for appearance first when wants to 追女仔, which is correct in a CERTAIN point of view……
Classes
According to what we learn in science form 3 and EST in form 4, we can classify living organisms by their physical appearances/characteristics. It applies for girls too……There are ONLY 3 groups of girls based on their physical characteristics, which are Angels, Devils and….. 猪扒……
- Angels
Scientific Name - Puella Angelus
Characteristics – have faces with perfect features, beautiful eyes…innocent-looking…thus the term ‘天使的面孔’ is used to describe people with pretty faces.
But they do not have very good 身材……
Rarity – Rare
Examples – N/A (not to let other girls feel 自卑)
- Devils
Scientific Name - Puella Diabolus
Characteristics – have beautiful and seductive body shape, thus the term ‘魔鬼的身材’ is used to describe people with good 三围……But they do not have very beautiful 面孔……
Rarity – Rare
Examples – N/A (not to let other girls feel 自卑)
- 猪扒
Scientific Name - Puella Sus
Characteristics – *CENSORED* (I believe everyone knows their physical characteristics, it is censored agar tidak menyinggung perasaan orang lain), thus 猪扒 is used to describe those people who really look like a猪扒……
Rarity – Too common 通街都係
Examples – N/A (agar tidak menyinggung perasaan orang lain)
Hybrids
Just like animals, girls can have hybrids too. Hybrids are the results of interbreeding between two classes among the three classes of girls. Due to the猪扒 genes have fairly high compatibility with other genes, there are a lot of 猪扒+ angel/devil hybrids. These hybrids are commonly known as 平凡的女生……where they combine the features of both classes. 平凡的女生 can improve their appearance by controlling their diet, exercise frequently……But once they stop doing it, they will go 走样 back due to their猪扒 genes in their blood……
The angel + devil hybrids only happen in rare cases since their genes are not compatible (as stated in their name, angels and devils are archenemies….). Since this hybrid fits both 天使的面孔 and魔鬼的身材 descriptions, she is considered as the PERFECT girl. Because of this reason, 女生的嫉妒心 have decreases the chances for the angels and devils to interbreed (to have someone looks better than them is a HELL NO WAY!!!).
‘Artificial’ 女生/‘GM’ 女生
With the help of advanced technology, guys can finally modify the appearance of 猪扒into women which shares similar characteristics with Angels and Devils. This can be done through Genetic Modification, Tissue Culture, make ups…. (Even face-lifting, 隆胸, 隆鼻, 隆屁股......after the girls get older) However, some guys don’t like ‘GM’ girls due to certain reasons (just like why some of us dislike GM food)…… Yet still, the population of this new species of girls is increasing everyday like HELL……
Appreciating & Protecting Women as a Man
Our world is cruel……it is dominated by 平凡的女生 and worse….猪扒. Angels and Devils are considered as endangered species and their hybrids are at the brink of extinction because they 受 other girls排挤and also man-hunting. Therefore as guys, we must protect girls (especially those endangered species…), even though they can be annoying, irritating, disgusting……We must also learn to appreciate them, since they let us know how to differentiate what is considered as 视觉享受 and what is considered as 视觉煎熬……
Conclusion
Every guy defines Angel, Devil and猪扒 differently……And most of them always think emotionally (especially when in loved where SHE is perfect no matter what情人眼里出西施). So even a girl is considered a猪扒 in a man’s eye, it can be an angel in another man’s eye……
To guys – What class is your girlfriend or the girl you are in loved with? Try to think LOGICALLY not emotionally……So that you won’t be 后悔……
To girls – What class do you feel that you are classified in? Even though you feel that you are really a猪扒, don’t feel 自卑……Just find a guy with a different perspective of classifying women…… Or maybe find a guy with a ‘not so good’ taste, for example l** *****? Besides that, inner beauty also plays an important role……

Teachers......
Today i very 不爽 one of my teachers. She WAS a very good teacher......But dunno why since this year, she's getting more and more emo.......Maybe because she's pregnant? Almost every time she comes into our class, she will sure at least get emo once....
There was once......
We came back late from the lab, so 5 minutes gone......
Then, She said that we were wasting our time because she saw us 慢慢来...... Why we 慢慢来? Because don't wanna have her class la. "你们知道吗?你们就来要考试了, 我们已经错过很多节了, 你们下一次能快一点吗?不要再浪费我的时间了......" After her 苦口婆心, 啰啰唆唆的 '劝导' (I think none of us was listening to her......so she was actually wasting her own PRECIOUS time too)......
10 minutes gone...... again...... then we finally started our lesson....
She first walked to maybe Kah Yan/Yoke Mun/Yee Yee/Keh Hau/Wai Pong's seat and then took out her 作业......Suddenly, "Oh, 我忘记今天要上语文知识......伟邦, 去我坐位拿一叠纸过来......" Then, Wai Pong rushed to the staffroom to get the paper......
After around 5 minutes......Wai Pong finally came back......
"来伟邦, 快点派纸......"......2 more minutes wasted......
Suddenly, "老师, 我们没有拿到纸....."
"没有可能的啊, 我明明影印足够的纸啊......"
After checking.....
"一定是书店的那个aunty出错了, 她每次都这样......不用紧, 你们就先和朋友一起看吧......"
Then, another 3 minutes gone because of this......
Suddenly again, "老师, 我们没有拿到上次派的纸....."
"你们啊, 为什么现在才来找我拿? 你们没有拿到就应该下课时跟我来拿嘛......现在又在这里浪费时间......"
3 minutes dah hilang while searching for the papers to give out......
Suddenly again......"原来在这里......" She finally found the missing papers......."原来不是那aunty的错......快点拿去派......"
2 minutes hilang lagi...... 唉......
Finally thought that she can teach d......"老师, 有人找你......"
She really looked pissed off at that moment......haha......
After 4 minutes and 59 seconds......
Pn Hoon finally can start carrying out her lesson without any interruption......
RING!!!!RING!!!!RING!!!!
Her class was over!!!! At that moment, she looked so annoyed and irritated, just like a volcano thats gonna erupt any moment.....
Today, i saw another side of this teacher, where she INSISTED that she's always correct even though she can be wrong......
Teacher: '佑溱, 我明白你的意思, 但是你是错的, 你要用逻辑来想.....blah blah blah'
She just don't understand what i meant......If wanna use 逻辑 to think......then what she said is totally not logic la...... All her 理由 was so 牵强......
Our 口舌之战 last for 20 minutes...... I wanna really really zat her......but since she's my teacher(must pay some respect) and she's pregnant, i stopped quarrelling with her.I just can 摇头 after hearing what she said. However, I'm glad that we managed to waste 20 minutes of her class...... although i'm still a bit of 不忿气 because at last she 'won'......
I hope that she will not be so emo anymore......because if she's still like this, everyone will end up 不爽 her.....(actually almost everyone 不爽 her d......)

The 'sien'ness in my life......
What should i write? I have nothing to write about...... Why i even started this? Who knows...... But i can say that i'm very sien now...... So maybe that's the reason i'm writing this?
