家好月圆 damn nice!!! The storyline 高潮迭起... Just 区区 5 episodes also so 过瘾... Too bad AOD don't provide free viewing after episode 5, need to download myself...
Basically the story is like its predecessor, with mooncakes replacing abalones, two wives fighting, the husband 夹在中间, the children suffers... It is just 米雪 replacing 关菊英 as the evil 二奶, 李司祺 as the always good and 宽容大量的大婆, 陈豪 is like in the prequel 儍儍地, 黄宗泽 replacing 林峰 as the 钟嘉欣有型的专业人士男朋友 (in the prequel, 林峰 is a lawyer and a 负心汉;in this Moonlight Resonance, 黄宗泽 is a doctor and dunno will be a 负心汉 or not....)
The story itself is a bit lame (like naming their sons and daughters according to the letters in 家好月圆庆中秋, and overuse of all those 烂gets from 荷妈, i dun think 李司祺 acted well enough when saying those 烂get) and the 曲折离奇的 family relationships (like brother falling in love with the 契妹) make the story too 戏剧化, 家好月圆 is a story that can only exist in TV dramas...
In addition to that, the opening theme song for this drama is just like its indirect prequel, the 关菊英 as the vocalist... Her songs are like those 70's 80's oldies.... If the 插曲 《爱不疚》 becomes the 主题曲, then it'll be better (for me la, the younger generations of the 电视观众). 林峰's 《爱不疚》 is nice, although not as good as his 《岁月风云》's 插曲, 《爱在记忆中找你》...
Filming 你争我斗的伦理剧 is always TVB's 拿手好戏, from 《大时代》，《天地豪情》，《金枝欲孽》，《溏心风暴》... to 《家好月圆》 and the upcoming 《珠光宝气》... Almost each of them became or most probably will become the classics for TVB.....
Hope this Moonlight Resonance won't disappoint us the 电视观众, don't give us a good beginning but a lame ending... hope it can do better than the Heart of Greed....
